Hobbies/interests/accomplishments: I have been married to my husband bruce for eleven years and we have two sons—henry and wilson. before they were born, i was an elementary school teacher. my hobbies are working out, spending time with friends and family, reading, and baking desserts. Favorite thing about corner barre: I love that barre never gets easy! i have been taking classes for years and it's just as challenging today as it was when i first began. it's a great way to tone your body and i truly look forward to every class!</image:caption>

My greatest joy is spending time with family. I also enjoy anything that allows me to be outside, especially if i’m on the water or getting my hands dirty. I am a career banking executive, and am “temporarily retired” after 30 years – now a full-time barre enthusiast. Favorite thing about corner barre: My fitness routine had been virtually nonexistent for several years, due to long work days and a daily commute to charlottesville, until i discovered barre. I was hooked from the first class. the corner barre instructors and clients are great. I love that the technique is suitable for all ages and fitness levels (i am a testament to both), and the increased strength and flexibility and body transformation that i’ve experienced.</image:caption>
